Accurate Visual Representations
Measured views of a building proposal are increasingly being requested by planning authorities as professionals seek to understand the impact of the accurate placing of a building within the current landscape or skyline.
Using photography and hi-tech precision equipment, our team can exactly pinpoint where a building will be placed within an urban setting, allowing architects to clearly communicate their designs to planning teams to understand and reliably asses the new building in its context.
The image above shows arrows located at the top of buildings in Salford Quays. Easting and Northing measurements are then taken at the point of the arrows and submitted to the client along with the height of the camera at the point of taking the image. The architect is then able to design and place a new building into the skyline which will be a measured visual representation of the finished construction.
